About RCGEN
Revival Christian Group Children of All Nations (RCGEN) is a faith-based, community-driven organization committed to transforming lives in Vrygrond, Cape Town, and beyond.
Our Story
RCGEN was born out of a simple but powerful calling: to serve the most vulnerable in our community. What began as a small Spirit-filled congregation has grown into a united family of four registered organisations, each addressing real needs in Vrygrond.
Guided by Deuteronomy 6:6–7, we are committed to passing faith, love, and purpose from one generation to the next.
RCGEN began in 1998 in the Democratic Republic of Congo, in Goma, North Kivu, during a time when the country was divided and life was extremely difficult. Many families faced hardship, with parents struggling to find work, yet children still needed food, care, and education.
Moved by compassion and faith, RCGEN started as a children’s ministry, a church, and a feeding programme to support vulnerable families and give hope to the next generation.
In 1999, RCGEN expanded its impact by establishing Imani Primary School (“Imani” meaning Faith), providing education to children who otherwise had no access to learning opportunities.
In 2009, RCGEN was established in South Africa, in Vrygrond, Cape Town, where it continues to serve the community through education, feeding schemes, and humanitarian support.
Today, RCGEN stands as a testimony of faith, resilience, and commitment to transforming lives from Goma to Cape Town and beyond.
